On Saturday, January 27, 2024, the Creativitime event was held. Creativitime is one of the internal agendas of the creative and design division in which there is a webinar intended for all GIS FEB and Membership members with the aim of providing knowledge about how to foster or increase creativity for all GIS FEB members and what the benefits are in the future.
The event was opened at 09.00 WIB by Ratna Wulandari as the master of ceremony. After being opened by the MC, it was continued with the reading of the divine kalam by Muhammad Syaiful Ridwan. Then continued with singing the song "Indonesia Raya" by all participants. Then the event continued with remarks by the chief executive, general chairman of GIS FEB, GIS FEB advisor, and vice Dean 3 for student affairs. After the remarks, it was continued with a group photo guided by the master of ceremony and carried out with three photos. Then continued with the reading of the moderator's CV by the master of ceremony and the CV of the speaker by the moderator.
After that, we immediately entered the main event of Creativitime, which was the delivery of the first session material by Salshabilla Permata Hersananda for 45 minutes interactively. What was delivered was related to the theme of the event, namely fostering and developing a creative and innovative mindset in the digital era. The presentation of the material contains the importance of creative and innovative thinking in the digital era where there are several reasons, such as how to make someone find innovation in a problem faced or problem solving. The second reason is personal growth or forming new skills for individuals. The 3rd reason is to be adaptable to circumstances and develop in a changing environment. The 4th reason is to help someone get new income. The 5th reason is that it can be a way to help someone build empathy and foster tolerance for fellow humans. After that, the first session was followed by a question and answer session for 10 minutes.
The 2nd session continued with the presentation of the 2nd material. The material in the second session contained creative thinking strategies. There are six stages or six strategies in thinking creatively. First, be an observer who observes everything we see and know. Second, do things in different ways and don't be afraid of new things outside of our routine. Third, do ATM or Observe, Imitate, Modify. Fourth, collaborate with friends or other people by discussing with each other. Fifth, take a short break like a vacation to refresh your mind. Then the last is brainstorming with yourself or with friends to determine the best solution to a problem.
